Utilizing your stories on instagram is a powerful tool to constantly have people engaged on your page. I hear people say all the time “I don’t know what to put for my IG stories?” or my favorite line, “Why do people care what my daily routine is?” I will be the first to admit when I started doing IG stories I said the same thing. I kept hearing that doing IG stories can help you grow and alot of people only watch stories. I finally figured I will jump on it and I try it out. When I first started consistently doing stories I had about 55-70 people watching my stories. Now I have anywhere from 1,900-3,500 people consistently watching my stories daily!
So why should you use IG stories?
It helps your audience connect with you on a more personal level. Being real and honest helps people feel closer to you. It is also a great way to build trust.
It boost engagement!
A lot of people only watch IG stories! Most people message me because of what I post in my stories, not what is on my grid. A lot of People now do not even scroll on instagram anymore!
1. Your day to day routine.
There is something about watching someone else share their routine. I have a friend who meditates every morning and shares how it has helped her stress levels decrease. Any time I see her sharing this, I immediately want to meditate and find my inner peace. Workout every morning? Share it! You never know who you might be inspiring! Here are a few ideas:

2. Tutorials
Teaching or showing your audience how to do something is a great way to increase engagement plus everyone will appreciate you for sharing that gem! Got a niche or something you are good at and know a lot about? Break it down and show people in your stories!
3. Recipes/Cooking
I am always looking for something new to cook and try out! If you are great with cooking or baking, Show it off in your stories!
4. Products you love
Jump on your stories and share with your peeps the products you have been using and loving. New Eye Cream? I am sure you have at least 3 people looking for a new eye cream! If you have over 10k followers and are a business account, use this as a chance to get affiliate links so your followers can swipe up to your link, purchase it and you can get commission! Tip: Only talk about products you really are using and that you really love! It makes it so much more authentic!
5. Questions and answers
Ever use the “Ask a question?” button for your IG stories? Some people may want to ask you something but are too shy to do so. By giving them the opportunity, it is a great way for followers to get to know you more and engage! Bonus: You can even save all of the questions and do an IG live to answer everyone!
6. Home renovations
I don’t know about you but I LOVE seeing people renovate any room in their house! I get excited when people are painting or putting in the new sinks or putting up the new mirror! I feel like I am a part of the journey with you and it makes me soo...ooo.ooo happy!
